gamma function:
A function of a real a>0. It is the integral over y from zero to
infinity of ya-1e-y dy. This integral is the gamma
function of a, GAMMA(a). (When HTML supports math a better display will be
possible.) The gamma distribution is a function that includes the
gamma function.
